Chad Fazenbaker was born and raised in Allegany County, MD. He currently holds the rank of first degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He began training and studying BJJ in 2002. Under the tutelage of Kevin Wilson, Chad earned his blue and purple belts before moving to Seoul, South Korea to teach English in 2008. In Seoul, he studied and trained BJJ with John Frankl , Head Coach at SBG Korea/JFBJJ. Chad earned and was awarded his black belt in May 2016 in Seoul by John Frankl. Upon returning to the United States in late 2016, Chad continued to teach BJJ locally and returned to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Chad has trained BJJ and competed in BJJ tournaments on two continents. He is a graduate of Frostburg State University and Allegany College of Maryland. He is currently a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in both Maryland and West Virginia and the head instructor and co-owner of B.C. Jiu Jitsu in Cumberland, MD. He wishes to share the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with everyone and help it spread throughout the tri-state region.
